“Design air installed one mini split for us this last summer, and it went flawlessly. We had them install another on January 3rd, with Dave and Eastyn doing a great job. This was a different story. The unit had a faulty service valve. They ordered a new valve, but after installation, the unit was *still* faulty, with a bad EEV control board. Liz felt terrible about our user experience, and arm wrestled Bryant to furnish an entirely new unit, which just got installed on the 22nd, and has functioned perfectly. We found Liz to be dedicated to fabulous customer service and excellent user experience. I recommend DesignAir highly and without reservation. They will absolutely take care of you.”

“The 30 year old furnace at my folks place finally failed and I desperately needed it to be evaluated. I have to drive a long way to get to my folks place and the Design Air team was very accommodating to timeline/schedule. After a thorough review the tech showed me multiple concerns with the old furnace and very clearly explained why the furnace was failing. He gave me multiple options to choose from, and I decided to replace the system. A week later I met the replacement team at my folks place again and I just cannot tell you how impressed I was by the courtesy and professionalism of the team. They lined the entire floor-route from the front door to the furnace with canvas and plastic to ensure they didn’t impact the floor. They were quiet and fast and had the entire old system removed and they new system up and running by just shortly after lunch. What really impressed my was how they kept me informed of their progress throughout the morning; which was unexpected and really comforting. When they left the new furnace was working great and they gave me a great overview of what they did and how the new system would function. AND, when they were finished THE ENTIRE FURNACE ROOM WAS CLEANER THAN WHEN THEY ARRIVED… really impressive effort to go above and beyond my expectations. The team was wonderful and I just can’t say enough about the service and quality.

“Design Air was amazing to work with!! Our 19 year old furnace system quit working during the middle of a 10-inch snow storm with temperatures below zero. We called Design Air Friday morning and they had a tech come out that same day to look at it. The tech called the office and priced out the repair costs to have a new blower motor installed. Due to the age of the system we decided to also price a complete new heating system. The tech gave us some space heaters to use to get us through the cold snap, which were a life saver! The Home Solutions Advisor came out first thing on Monday morning to take some measurements and review new furnace options. We had an estimate on three new heating systems within an hour and half. We decided on which of the more energy efficient systems we wanted to go with that day. Design Air ordered our new system Monday afternoon, called Tuesday to set up an install time, and did the complete install of the new system on Wednesday! Absolutely amazing turn around and excellent customer service. Every contact we had was positive. Thank you to our team from start to finish!! Brandy, Mark, Doug, Ed, and Griffin you all helped us tremendously and can’t thank you enough for the positive experience!!”

“We asked Design Air Inc to provide a proposal for our large 5-bedroom home in Missoula. An appointment to look at the house was set up immediately. Mike & Doug came out to inspect the house and do their research in order to match the right AC unit to the overall design, square footage, etc. The dollar figure was far more reasonable than I had expected. I agreed, all parts were ordered straight away and the project started within a couple days.
Installing a new AC unit is a big job and involves a lot of work and planning. It took Tristan Alexander and Griffin Pluth only 2 days to get it all done. We were impressed! These 2 young guys really knew their stuff. Furthermore, they were super friendly, respectful, wore their COVID-19 masks at all times, and explained every step of the way what they were doing. All we had to do was get out of their way and hang on! I hope they are both promoted soon, as they should be. I asked for a new thermostat; it was installed properly and configured exactly the way we wanted it; all options were presented and explained thoroughly.
We now have a great AC unit, and it works perfectly. Design Air, Inc., was fast, efficient, very reasonable in price, and they have the right people working for them, to include office personnel and people working in the field. All of them, extremely professional and friendly; and I like that. In my mind, this company is tops all around and cannot be beat!”

I was very impressed with their thoroughness in making sure I understood the different options for the new furnace and the work that would be involved for each type.
We got multiple bids, and theirs was very competitive so we went ahead and had them order us a furnace.
They came out for the install, right on time, and did great work.
The house and the work area were completely clean when they finished.
From there, they testing everything, took care of scheduling the inspection, and covered all the final paperwork with me.

When our residential 27-year-old gas furnace stopped working during a below freezing 2019 winter night, Mike and his team helped us by installing a new gas furnace in two and a half days. The first day they troubleshot, loaned us space heaters to get us by, then advised us on the options, arranged for the new appropriately sized furnace to be delivered asap from Spokane, WA. Near noon on the third day the new gas furnace was operating and heating our home. We would highly recommend Design Air Inc, Missoula because the furnace installation was well planned, organized with excellent workmanship, and follow-up service. The cost of replacement parts and labor is rising everywhere. You pay for, for what your get. Design Air Inc, Missoula has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 9/1/ 2005, so they must be doing something right!”
